A detailed cost estimate belongs to cost planning and control rather than the descriptive narrative of the design intent. Final construction drawings are produced later in the design process as the graphic representation of the approved design, not a descriptive brief. Operation manuals are created after construction to operate and maintain the building, not to describe the design itself.
